Untitled 5
Yes, in that dim-lit night,
one or two thoughts
rose to the surface.
I simply closed my eyes,
turned them over once again,
and slowly
began to fly.
Where I was going,
when I would descend
and finally land—
I had no idea.
I only let the wind
carry me, obediently.
Since I did not particularly mind,
I tried, half-heartedly,
to imitate that faint contrail
far off in the sky.
