Short Reflection

Kakawa Camp, Canada. Only a few days after arriving, I went straight off to camp. I played with abandon. I was so happy. Swimming, archery, gaga ball, hiking—oh, it was wonderful. There was so much laughter. At the time, I was so caught up in having fun that I hardly thought about anything else. Although, to be honest, I am not sure it was entirely joyful. Perhaps my memory has distorted things. What matters, in any case, is that I have a memory like this to look back on.
